Expenses, without the shoebox
Photograph a receipt.
Get your money back.
A receipt is in your hand for about a minute. Bonnie takes it there, reads what is printed on it, and keeps it until the end of the month, when it becomes one document somebody can pay.
Free while Bonnie is in beta. Accounts are let in by hand.

Two of the three happen in the shop
By the end of the month a pile of receipts all look the same and you are guessing. Bonnie asks while you still know.
1Photograph it
In the shop, while it is still in your hand. Bonnie reads the supplier, the date and the total off the paper.
2Answer who paid
The company's money or yours. One tap, asked while you still know, which decides everything afterwards.
3Send it
At the end of the month it is one document with a number on it, and somebody can pay it.
A document somebody can pay
Not a folder of photographs and not a spreadsheet. A claim says who is owed, where the money goes, what it was for, and carries a number unique across Bonnie so it can be quoted in an email.
- Your half is already signed, with your name and the time, so it never has to be printed to be signed.
- Every receipt gets its own page, numbered to match the overview.
- The document is kept exactly as it went out, so you can always produce what somebody received.

On your own, or with the people you work with
Bonnie starts as one person’s app and never asks you to pretend otherwise.
Filing for yourself
You never meet the word organisation. Keep a list of the companies that reimburse you, each with its own approver and its own address for reports, and claim from whichever one owes you.
Filing together
Invite people and everybody files into the same books. One bookkeeper address for the company, an administrator who sees all of it, and anybody can build the report.
Your receipts are already somewhere
In a wallet, a coat pocket, a photo library, an envelope in the glovebox. Bonnie is the version of that which adds up.
